These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of FedWatch, a public Progressive Web Application (PWA) developed to support community reporting on flood events, health alerts, and education disruptions.

1. Public Prototype Disclaimer

This application is a demonstration tool designed for informational and community awareness purposes only. FedWatch does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed, and must not be relied upon as the sole source of information during emergencies.

All content in this app โ€” including design, code, and assets โ€” belongs to the developers unless otherwise indicated. The app also incorporates open-source components under their respective licenses (e.g. Leaflet.js under BSD 2-Clause).

Reports you submit remain your property. By submitting information, you grant FedWatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use aggregated and anonymized data for community awareness and research purposes.

4. Limitation of Liability

The developers are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage that may result from your use of the app, including reliance on its community-submitted data. This includes indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

5. Modifications and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
