1. Public Prototype Disclaimer
This application is a demonstration tool designed for informational and community awareness purposes only. FedWatch does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed, and must not be relied upon as the sole source of information during emergencies.
2. User Responsibilities
- Use the app at your own risk.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or harmful content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, tamper with, or overload the app or its data.
- Verify all information before making decisions based on it.
- For life-threatening emergencies, always contact official emergency services directly.
3. Intellectual Property
All content in this app โ including design, code, and assets โ belongs to the developers unless otherwise indicated. The app also incorporates open-source components under their respective licenses (e.g. Leaflet.js under BSD 2-Clause).
Reports you submit remain your property. By submitting information, you grant FedWatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use aggregated and anonymized data for community awareness and research purposes.
4. Limitation of Liability
The developers are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage that may result from your use of the app, including reliance on its community-submitted data. This includes indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
